German Wine

Overlook Germany as a great wine nation at your peril. While its volumetric output is dwarfed by the nations to its south and west, it retains a dedicated and skilled pool of winemaking talent that can trace its roots back to the Roman era. Needless to say, we always stock at least one fabulous German Riesling, a reflection of the region’s gift to the world of wine, albeit one that is now grown as far afield as Australia, Chile and South Africa.

If ever a nation’s wine represented its national stereotypes – inviting, friendly and trustworthy – it’s Germany’s. We invite you to sample the German wine region’s output for yourself from our small but magnificent collection of red and white wines.
