Cabernet Sauvignon Wine

The result of a little cross-breeding between Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon Blanc, it took the best aspects of both varieties, including thick skins, hardy vines and low yields necessary to concentrate flavour. Combine that with intense aromas and the ability to add elegance and structure to any blend, and you’ve got yourself a contender in the race to become top grape.

It pops up in practically every winegrowing region around the world, either as a single varietal or in a blend, where subtle geographic and climatic differences feed into a rich range of flavours.
