Chenin Blanc Wine

Home for Chenin Blanc is France’s central Loire Valley, where for centuries it has lent a hand to an amazing array of styles from super sweet to bone dry and sparkling but you’ll also find a smattering of styles further afield in South America and Australia. More recently South Africa has championed the virtues of this adaptable little grape and now produces some very fine oaked and lees-aged examples from old vines.

A grape capable of long ageing, thanks to its natural high acidity, Chenin Blanc’s flavour profile leans towards floral, honey, stone fruit and citrus with the best styles offering rich, textured palates that guarantee its place among the upper echelons of the grape world.
