Fiano Wine

Fiano wines are really in vogue at the moment. Traditionally grown in the Campania region of Southern Italy, the Fiano grape produces white wines that range from being taut and minerally to being rich and nutty. It can also develop floral and honeyed notes, and a taste of spice and tropical fruits like pineapple. It is mainly found in Fiano di Avellino DOCG wine. Fiano is also grown in Sicily and Puglia in Italy as well as in small quantities in South Australia and the United states. Fiano makes deliciously dry wines for drinking on their own or they are very versatile with food. Try it with white fish, grilled chicken or even Falafel.
