Torrontes is a Spanish white grape variety that that has become increasingly famous in Argentina. Torrontes is a white grape that produces full-bodied, crisp wines with a distinctively grapey aroma not unlike Muscat. Torrontes wine ranges from light and fresh to heady and intensely perfumed, often with a taste of spice and aromas of white flowers. The Torrontes vine grows particularly well in the high altitude vineyards of in Argentina. The wide range in day to night time temperatures produces high sugar content and preserves the balance of natural acids in the grape creating a delicious, balanced, crisp and aromatic wine.
