Viura Wine

You say Viura, they say Macabeo. Viura is indeed a synonym for the fresh, fruity Macabeo grape. Known as Viura in the classic wine region of Rioja, Viura produces mouth-watering bone dry whites which do indeed take on a different character when aged in oak – as is often the case in Rioja. Oak aged versions or mature styles take on honeyed tones, with riper fruit and nutty character.
