Mackerel Pate Recipe - With Wine Match

Contrast the smoky fish flavours with a good dose of ripe fruit and a zesty acidity - light whites work well, especially Sauvignon Blanc.
Ingredients
4 TO 5 SMOKED MACKEREL FILLETS

300G CREAM CHEESE

JUICE OF 1 LEMON
1 TEASPOON HORSERADISH SAUCE

SALT AND PEPPER

Recipe Method

1. Skin the mackerel.


2. Place in a blender with the other ingredients and blend to your desired consistency.


3. Adjust cream cheese, horseradish and seasoning to taste.


4. Serve with crusty bread and/or crudités.
