Proudly Presenting Our New House Wines!
Our founder Tony combined his love of all things Rude with a passion for wine when he established Rude Wines in 2013. Fast forward three and a half years and the next logical step was to see the Rude Wines logo emblazoned on our very own house wines. As we reported in the summer, our wine buyer Gerald and co-founder Debs embarked on an epic trip across to France armed with a brief to source two wines that would bear the hallmark of quality, balance and utmost drinkability, wrapped up in a simple, bold design, not unlike our founder Tony ...
6 Green Bottles... (or any colour for that matter)
We’ve listened carefully to your feedback and thought it was high time we dropped our minimum order requirements. You can now order your wine in six bottle cases with a delivery charge of £4.99. If you’re looking for a special gift, we can also deliver accessories including glassware and corkscrews, and if you’d like us to send a gift directly to the recipient, we’ll even include a message on your behalf.
If you'd like to learn more, call the customer services team on 0344 561 0543.
Don’t forget, all orders of 12 bottles and over still qualify for free UK delivery.
Our Very Own House Wine!
We’ve been doing a lot of work behind the scenes and can now announce that (drumroll please…) our very own Rude house wines will be available to purchase in September!
Mid-Summer Tasting Madness
There was no time to put our feet up in June with two more tastings to tick off in London. The Three Wine Men Tasting at the Royal Horticultural Halls saw 1000 thirsty folk attend over three sessions, and then we were back in the City the week after for The Wine Gang tasting at the Honourable Artillery Company with another 600-odd wine lovers streaming through the doors.
We're going Loire and Rhône Crazy!
We’ve recently taken delivery of a whole raft of new wines from the Rhône and Loire regions, including perennial favourites Sancerre and Châteauneuf-du-Pape along with some new and exciting finds from lesser-known areas.
Rude Wines at the BBC Good Food Show
Another week, another wine tasting! This weekend saw us decamp to the Big Smoke for a marathon three day tasting session at the BBC Good Food Show at ExCel. This year’s show theme was ‘Eat Well’ and we were determined to champion our own ‘Drinking Well’ theme with a selection of delectable wines from the likes of Domaine Saint Lannes in Gascony, Edgebaston Wines in Stellenbosch and fine wines from the likes of Chile’s Casas del Bosque and Gavi supremos La Giustiniana. The crowds battled their way through the flax seed and coconut oil stalls (and very good they were) for a civilised drop of the good stuff, and if they were lucky, a nibble of cheddar
