Viña Alto Roble Wines

Viñas Alto Roble (meaning tall oak) call the beautiful town of Yerbas Buenas in the Maule Valley home, although vineyard sites are scattered the length and breadth of the Central Valley area in the Colchagua, Curico and Maule production areas. Timing proved right for founders Francisco Achurra and Patricio Larrain who bought a small Cabernet Sauvignon vineyard in the area in 1993. Growing recognition for Chilean wines led them to invest in neighbouring vineyards, with a gradual move towards the cooler, higher altitude sites.
