The blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir produces an enticing salmon pink colour, lots of ripe stone fruit on the nose, and a lush, creamy palate with delicate red berry flavours on the finish. Enjoy with seafood, fish in creamy sauces, and even fruit based desserts.

Buy this if.....you're celebrating, or looking for food-friendly fizz.

'From a much respected grower and made from premier cru vineyards this has so much more going on than the innocuous, underwhelming pink sparklers I try to avoid.’

The Winemaker

Precise vinification techniques are the order of the day, with stainles steel temperature cotrolled vats for the fermentation of the still wines, followed by the second fermentation in bottle in cool cellars.

The Region

France’s largest and undoubtedly best-known wine region, Bordeaux is synonymous with world-class (and often expensive) red wines yet it produces a full range of styles from sweet to sparkling, with wines to suit every budget. The city of Bordeaux sits at the confluence of the Dordogne and Garonne rivers, flowing in to the Gironde before reaching the Atlantic, a unique geographical feature that contributes to the amazing range of styles produced in the region. The rivers carve the region into two distinct areas – the Right and Left Banks, and some surprising differences between the two sides.

Crispy Fish Fingers with Tartare Sauce

An easy fish recipe that will leave you wondering why you ever bought the freezer kind, these crunchy bites served with a zingy tartare call for a light, crisp white wine - try fish-friendly northern European whites or Champagne style sparklers.

Eton Mess

The combination of rich cream and tart juicy fruit makes for a tricky wine match but a ripe, delicate Rosé champagne pairs perfectly with the red fruit flavours.

Smoked Haddock with Creamy Lentils

The combination of smoked fish and creamy lentils pairs well with crisp, mineral whites and especially sparkling styles.
