Summer is the perfect time to enjoy a glass of pink wine, so, what can you expect from this one? Made in the Entre-Deux-Mers region of Bordeaux known for its high quality wines, you can be sure you're getting something special here.

Take a sniff and you'll pick up aromas of strawberries and grapefruit and even hints of blueberry and lavender. To taste, this wine is lively with flavours of exotic fruits and lichis.

With a long mouthwatering finish with a slight salty tang and good acidity, this is top value rose with good structure. Drink this on its own or with Mediterranean inspired dishes.

A lovely dry rosé made from the Cabernet Franc grape in the Entre-Deux Mers Region of Bordeaux. One of the best value French wines that we've found.

The Producer

Chateau Lauduc has been planted with vines since 1919 and in 1971 started to be converted to AOC Bordeaux status. Originally just 55 hectares, the Chateau's total land now covers 135 hectares spread over 8 communes in the Entre-Deux Mers region.

A Family Business

Regis and Herve Grandeau now run Chateau Lauduc, whose family has lived on the property since 1923.

Entre-Deux Mers, Bordeaux

Entre-Deux Mers can be translated from the French as 'between two tides' due to its location between the tidal Garonne and Dordogne rivers. These two rivers eventually merge into the Gironde estuary that flows out to sea by the city of Bordeaux. Mainly white wines are made here from the Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon and Muscadelle grapes. A very traditional winemaking region, the area was originally planted with vines by the Romans over 2000 years ago.
