A Christmas Claret (6-bottles)

Can you ever have enough claret? The sheer diversity of Bordeaux makes it one of the world's most rewarding wine regions to explore. And, there's no better time to do so.

Pulling together half a dozen of our favourite clarets, there are three phenomenal wines for the big day itself. Châteaux L'Argenteyre 2014, Pomeys 2014, and Peyredon Lagravette 2015 lead the charge here. These are wines that'll effortlessly lift that meal into the fabulous category.

Red Graves, Médoc, and St-Émilion are here too, perfect for all those Christmassy occasions where it's time for claret. Whether it's Boxing Day cold meats, roast beef, or the cheese board, you'll have just the wine to hand.

Roasted Quail Wrapped in Prosciutto

The classic gamey flavours of quail combined with salty ham call for a rich, decadent, earthy red wine with a liberal dash of spice. We'd recommend Château L’Argenteyre, it's a Cru Bourgeois from the Médo. Full recipe
