Made by rising star Carmelo d'Aquino, 2007 Young Australian and New Zealand Winemaker of the Year, who makes fabulous wines in the state of the art winery at Crestwood Cellars. He's done a lot to contribute to the renewed interest in Australian wines.

This wine is a lovely pale lemon colour with a bouquet of pineapple and tropical fruit. Crisp and clean on the palate, it has a lingering finish reminiscent of yellow stone fruits.

Great on its own, at a barbecue or with roast chicken or fish.

The Producer

The grapes for this Chardonnay are sourced from selected vineyards in South Eastern Australia and vinified at Crestwood Cellar to make this fabulous Australian wine. The grapes are harvested at night, lightly crushed and then the juice is fermented with French oak staves to add complexity to this fruity white wine.

The Winemaker

This dry, fruity Australian white wine was made by Carmelo d'Aquino who was awarded Young Wine Maker of the Year in 2007 for the Australia/New Zealand region.

South Eastern Australia

The grapes for this great value Australian wine were sourced from selected vineyards from South Eastern Australia, a region known for producing a range of both red and white easy-drinking wines.
