The Winemaker

Grapes were harvested at night to preserve acidity and aroma compounds and only when grapes reach full ripeness. They are selected from a variety of vineyard sites and fermentation took place in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks to create a clean, crisp, unoaked style.

Robertson

The Roberton region in south Africa is known as the Valley of wine and roses and is located 100 miles east of Cape Town. This famous wine region has a variety of soil types and microclimates perfect for the cultivation of grapes for wine making. Pea and Goats Cheese Risotto

A creamy, indulgent risotto that has sharp flavours of goats cheese and sweet tasting peas. An easy going Chardonnay or Sauvignon provides a perfect backdrop to these flavours, perhaps a dry yet fruity Chardonnay from sunny South Africa would be best.

Tartiflette

An unctuous melange of cheese, potato and bacon may need a little bit of acidity to balance up proceedings. Try a zingy Chardonnay or Semillon blend. Go French if you favour tradition or search further afield in Australia or South Africa for the perfect bottle.

Cauliflower Steaks with Olive and Herb Salsa

A tasty vegan recipe with bags of flavour, these Cauliflower steaks are just the job for a mid week supper. A glass of straight talking Aussie or South African Chardonnay will round off proceedings nicely.
