This jewel of a wine is the result of a desire to rediscover the Prosecco making tradition, by blending several grape varieties in the same way Prosecco was made fifty years ago. This is a 'Dry' rather than 'Brut' style, confusingly this means than it's actually more 'medium-dry' in taste. The blend is 85% Glera and 15% Verdiso, Perera and Bianchetta grapes, giving a fresh, fruity palate with ripe citrus flavours and a mouth-watering floral finish. Exclusive to Rude Wines.

'A plush textured Prosecco with peach and butterscotch flavours...perfect for those who like a fuller, sweeter style of fizz.'
The Drinks Business Prosecco Masters - Ten of the World's Best Proseccos for under £15

I bought this to try as the blend of grapes intrigued me and I was not disappointed the quality of this prosecco is second to none. It's rounded, full of flavour and the bubbles last! It's my new go to bubbles. Carol

The Producer

Set in the idyllic rolling hills of the Veneto’s Pre-Alps, the Val d’Oca co-operative was established in 1952 by a handful of grape growers who saw the benefits of co-operation as a solution to face the economic difficulties of the post-war period. They couldn’t have envisaged what a good idea that was at the time – the co-operative has now grown to 576 members with over 700 hectares of vineyards, enabling smaller farmers to continue working the land.

The Winemaker

We are all for championing co-operative wineries, and this is one of the best around. The state-of-the-art winemaking facility combined with top-notch vineyard management ensures that Val d’Oca remains one of the top producers in the region.

The Region

Val d'Oca enjoys an enviable location right in the heart of the prized growing areas between the towns of Valdobbiadene and Conegliano. Grapes grown on the slopes of these steep hills are awarded the highest status of DOCG, with vineyards located on flat land given the lesser DOC status (that extra ‘G’ signifies that the quality is Guaranteed). The combination of hilly vineyards, mild climate and complex patchwork of soils all contribute towards the unique character of Prosecco.

Best Prosecco

I purchased this wine because I have a love for Prosecco. The presentation and the unique label really sold this bottle to me.

When I opened it, WOW! the taste and the bubbles were outstanding.

I have already purchased some more for my Christmas celebarations
