Not all Proseccos are created equal – and this light, citrusy fizz is specially selected for Rude Wines by one of the Veneto's top winemakers. It raises the bar with its crisp, fresh fruit and mouth-watering bubbles. What’s more, the label is printed on a jazzy kind of paper that won’t slide off in an ice bucket (should it last that long). Drink it with whatever and whoever makes you happy.

The Producer

Top Veneto producer Fabiano source our Prosecco through a co-operative winery in the foothills of Montello and Asolo. Established in 1957, the co-op has over 600 hectares of vineyards at its disposal on a wide variety of sites. Low yields and strict selection of grapes is a must, and the latest technology ensures that the wines are produced consistently and with an emphasis on quality over quantity.

Tom Cannavan's Review

Don't just take our word for it; here's what wine writer Tom Cannavan has to say:

"Why has Prosecco zoomed up the sparkling wine charts so dramatically? It's not just to do with its affordable price, it's the fresh, fruit-driven character of the wines, their lightness and their easy-drinking charm. This juicy pear-fruited wine is the perfect example with its dry, balanced finish and frothy approachability."

The Region

The Prosecco production zone lies in the Veneto region in north-eastern Italy between the sub-Alpine foothills and the plains that stretch towards Venice and the sea. Most vineyards are set between 120 to 250 metres above sea level, with mostly south-facing sites. The terrain has variable characteristics, although the gravely subsoil is a constant, allowing excellent drainage of rain water.

Fizz that's the bizz!

A great balanced Prosecco that's not too dry or sweet. Lovely fruit notes balanced by the fizz.
Makes for a great start to any evening.
