It's not often you'll find a wine at £6.99 that makes you think, "I'd have happily paid more for this". Bogus discounts can be such a let-down.

We've decided to go one step further, by permanently taking a range of our best-selling wines down to £6.99.

Wines that before had been at £7.99, £8.99, and even £9.99. Wines that our customers rave about and buy time and time again. Wines that you won't see on the high street, and have that extra bit of character than the norm.

We're convinced you won't find better wines at £6.99. That's certainly a fair 'everyday' price these days, but you'll be drinking wines genuinely worth much more.

Take your wines to the next level, for not a penny more.

Simply the best everyday wines we've come across, now all under £7 a bottle. You'll notice the difference in the glass, not the wallet

Vinas Alto Roble (meaning tall oak) call the beautiful town of Yerbas Buenas in the Maule Valley home, although vineyard sites are scattered the length and breadth of the Central Valley area in the Colchagua, Curico and Maule production areas. Timing proved right for founders Francisco Achurra and Patricio Larrain who bought a small Cabernet Sauvignon vineyard in the area in 1993. Growing recognition for Chilean wines led them to invest in neighbouring vineyards, with a gradual move towards the cooler, higher altitude sites.

The Producer

Founded by winemaking legend José Neiva Correia in 1998, DJF Vinhos is located in the Lisboa region which stretches north along the coast from the capital Lisbon. A simple philosophy with an ambitious aim: to transform the rich and diverse Portuguese varieties into top quality wines that are accessible to all. Quality and value for money are key, and the estate even buys in used oak barrels and employ two coopers to take them apart and strip them back to the new wood – as good as new for a fraction of the price! DJF is not short of fans, with more awards than any other Portuguese producer of the last 20 years, including red wine of the year at the IWC and twice Portuguese Winery of the Year in the New York Wine Competition since 2012.

Klippenkop Pinotage 2018, Robertson

Made from Pinotage, South Africa's flagship red grape, this is a dark, brooding wine, rich with black fruit and just a hint of chocolate. Always worth trying, we think you'll lap up this great value example.

Corvina's a chameleon Italian grape variety. Responsible for Amarone, Recioto plus a host of deliciously refreshing cherry-fruited red wines. This is one.
