Adelaide Hills

The Adelaide Hills region is located in the Mount Lofty Ranges, due east of the city of Adelaide. Stretching in a narrow band approximately 70km long, the highest vineyards are sited between 600-650 metres above sea level, making it one of the country's top cool-climate wine producing areas, with average temperatures up to 5 degrees C cooler than in the city. The folds of the hills create a wide range of microclimates, soil types and aspects, with small and often steep vineyards creating fresh, understated styles.
