Cahors Wine

Situated in the south-west corner of France, the Cahors wine region produces deeply coloured red wines (the so-called ‘Black Wines’ of Cahors) made from a minimum of 70% Malbec. Winemakers often blend this with gutsy Tannat or smooth Merlot depending on the desired style. Cahors is a great match with duck and lamb dishes.
