Cognac Wines

Cognac is a type of brandy that gets its name from the town in western France situated north of Bordeaux. Cognac is made from a white wine base made from Ugni Blanc, Folle Blanche and Colombard grapes that are distilled in a pot-still and aged for two years in oak. The basic brandy is also known as eau de vie before ageing.
