Cote de Beaune

Burgundy's Cote de Beaune is the southern half of the famous Cote d'Or, a long limestone escarpment that is perhaps the world's most famous wine growing slope. More whites are produced here than reds, with world famous names including Meursault and Puligny-Montrachet as well as generic Bourgogne Blanc wines.
