Entre Deux Mers

The Entre-Deux-Mers is a wine-producing region located in Bordeaux, France. The name means ‘between two seas’ as the region is situated between two tidal rivers, the Garonne and Dordogne. It is one of the main white wine producing areas in Bordeaux but although red Bordeaux is also produced here. The main grapes used for the white wines are Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon, Sauvignon Gris and Muscadelle. These are wines to be best enjoyed young, preferably within a year of bottling.
