Niederosterreich Wine

Niederösterreich, also known as Lower Austria, is the country’s largest wine growing region, situated in the eastern corner of the country, close to the capital Vienna. 44% of all the grapes grown here are Grüner Veltliner, Austria’s calling card, whose taut, mineral and green-fruited styles are a refreshing break from the norm. You’ll also find Riesling here and red wines made from Pinot Noir.
