Saint Mont

Saint Mont is an appellation in Gascony, France, situated around the town of St-Mont is a town about 50km north of Pau. The vast majority of St-Mont wine is made by the quality conscious Producteurs Plaimont co-operative from local grape varieties like Arrufiac, Petit Courbu, Petit Manseng, Gros Manseng and Clairette. High standards of winemaking are achieved by hand harvesting grapes and low permitted yields of grapes meaning the grapes are of the best possible quality.
