Victoria

Located in South Australia, the Victoria wine region produces a variety of wine styles from dry reds and whites to sweet dessert wines, known as ‘stickies’. Elegant Pinot Noirs and Chardonnays, excellent sparkling wine and complex Cabernet Sauvignons are made from grapes grown in the cool Yarra Valley. The region of Geelong and the Mornington Peninsula are notable for their Pinot Noirs and Chardonnays. Rutherglen and Glenrowan are famous for their Muscats, rich fortified wines made from Muscat and Muscadelle grapes that have been described as tasting like sticky toffee pudding in a glass!
